Your Questions, Answered
How does Loop parse my screenshots?
Loop's vision engine reads text in your screenshots — Canvas notifications, iMessage threads, email screenshots, and more. Loop extracts deadlines, commitments, and action items, then shows you the exact source snippet it used so you can verify accuracy.
Is my data private?
Your captured items are stored in Firebase Firestore under your personal user ID — no one else can access them. Content is processed by the Loop engine under strict data policies. We never train models on your personal data without explicit consent.
Can Loop send emails or messages for me?
No. Loop never takes action on your behalf — you decide everything. Loop is a decision-support tool that surfaces and organizes information. It never sends messages, RSVPs, submits assignments, or acts autonomously. Every output is a suggestion you verify.
What file types can I upload?
You can paste plain text directly or upload image files (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP) of screenshots. Voice memo support is coming soon. Loop accepts Canvas notifications, group chat screenshots, email threads, and free-form brain dumps.
How does the priority scoring work?
Loop assigns each item an urgency score (0–100) based on deadline proximity, stated importance, and context. Items are grouped as urgent, high, medium, or low priority. Confidence scores (High/Medium/Low) tell you how certain the AI is about each extraction.
Is Loop free?
Loop is free during the beta period. Post-hackathon we'll introduce a generous free tier and a Pro plan for power users. We'll give plenty of notice before any limits kick in.
